How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation through our website by following the instructions in the “Reservations” section. In the event that there is no availability on the desired date, you can register on our “waiting list” for the desired day through the same booking platform.

Do you accept children?​?

Yes, we welcome children, but we don’t have a special menu for them. If you visit us with your children the chef can prepare a simple dish with seasonal ingredients. We don’t make “children’s” and “on the spot” dishes such as pasta, rice, omelettes, chips, etc.  Please remember that, for reasons of space and table size, children must always be counted in the total number of people in the reservation, even if they are small and use a highchair.

What happens if I arrive late?

Please be punctual in order to enjoy the experience.
Please inform us of any delays. In the case of no prior notice, 15 minutes after the established time, we will cancel the reservation.

What are the opening hours of the restaurant for customers?

If we cannot find a table for the number of guests, can two smaller tables be joined together?

No. Once the established limit of diners per table has been exceeded, it cannot be exceeded. The small size of the premises makes it impossible to join tables in order to respect the distances between them and not encroach on the work areas of the wait staff.

Do you offer menus?

The gastronomic offer of El Taller consists of two types of tasting menus: the Surprise Menu (6 courses) that Seve and his team will execute in a free and creative way and the Long Menu (11 courses) that varies according to the season and availability of the product and is intended to present the cuisine and the philosophy of the place. Both menus contain allergens which can be omitted only in the Surprise Menu: all customers with dietary restrictions should opt for this menu as the Long Menu does not allow changes. Information about allergies, intolerances or even foods that are not to your taste must be communicated in advance. The menus are served to a full table.

What happens if a guest has an allergy or intolerance?

It’s very important for us that if you have any food allergy or intolerance you let us know at the time of booking from our website. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that our menu will be adapted to your restrictions.

Do you have a vegetarian or vegan menu?

Unfortunately, our menus are not suitable for vegetarians and vegans due to the variety of dishes and their complexity. If you don’t eat meat, but do eat seafood and fish, we can adapt your menu if you indicate this on the booking form.

Do you offer Gift Cards?

We don’t offer Gift Cards. We don’t accept prepayments for our services. We don’t make graphic cards as a “reminder” of the reservation and we do not give our logo in digital format for the personal use of our clients.

Do you make birthday cakes?

We don’t make birthday cakes. Ours is a bakery “a plated desserts” and with many preparations that can hardly be contained in a cake tin. On birthdays we usually offer the possibility of putting a candle in one of our desserts.

We advise you to book 6/8 weeks in advance of your desired date.

We kindly ask you to be punctual in order to enjoy the experience. We need to be informed of any delays. In the case of no prior notice, 15 minutes after the scheduled time we will cancel the reservation.

No disponemos de Tarjetas Regalo. Para nuestros servicios no aceptamos prepagos. No realizamos tarjetas gráficas como “recordatorio” de la reserva y no cedemos nuestro logotipo en formato digital para el uso personal de los clientes.

After you have made your booking you will receive an email with the confirmation of your booking. In case you don’t receive the confirmation, please contact us via email: info@eltallersevediaz.com. You will also receive a reminder 24 hours before your appointment.

You can check the confirmation email that you received after making your booking. If you have any further doubts, questions or simply wish to check the possibility of changes to your booking, please write to: info@eltallersevediaz.com.

Cancellations must be made following the steps indicated in the confirmation email you received from the platform. If you are unable to do so, please write to us at: info@eltallersevediaz.com. We don’t accept cancellations by phone.

Due to the small size of the restaurant we cannot cater for large groups. The largest table is for 6 people and the method of booking is, as for all tables, through the web.

We don’t offer special menus for company dinners or small celebrations. If you wish to book a table for a small gathering, you will have to check availability on the website (the group must be a maximum of 6 people). In case of availability we offer the tasting menu for the whole table. As always, drinks and complements are not included in the menu.

Celebrations

The high volume of our work prevents us from acquiring on our own any extra items outside of our catering business, such as flowers or greeting cards. If you send us the gift in advance, we will take care of it at the table when you arrive, as long as they are small items that don’t obstruct the aisles or disturb other guests. We cannot be responsible for valuables.

For obvious food safety reasons, it’s forbidden to consume any product that is not made in the restaurant. We are also not responsible for their preservation.

Yes, we occasionally allow bottles of wine to be brought in as long as we do not have that reference in our cellar. A corkage fee will be charged for each bottle. You can consult this possibility by writing to: info@eltallersevediaz.com. In this case we are not responsible for the state of conservation or quality of the product.

We don’t have a reserved area or a special area. The venue consists of a single ambience and all the tables and their surroundings are very similar. If you are already familiar with the venue and would like to reserve a specific table, please contact us by email at info@eltallersevediaz.com and we will confirm if it’s available for your desired date.

General

We don’t have our own car park. The closest to the restaurant are the ones in the Esplanada del Muelle (public car park, without surveillance) and the one in the Plaza de Europa, just opposite the Town Hall (private car park).

We accept Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards. We also accept cash payments (euros).

Due to the age of the building, access to our facilities is not adapted for people with reduced mobility. The interior spaces and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. We would be grateful if you could inform us in advance of any needs you may have so that we can offer you the greatest comfort, both at your table and in accessing the services.

We have no dress code. The most important thing for us is that our guests enjoy themselves and are as comfortable as possible.

You can contact us by email reporting the characteristics of the object. Under no circumstances will we contact the customer directly: the objects must be claimed by the owner within 3 months. After this time the employee who found the object has the right to keep it and the customer can no longer claim it.

Admission will be refused if the person wishing to enter the premises has one or more of the following conditions: has an excess of alcohol or drugs, has a violent or aggressive attitude or is likely to disturb other people, is carrying weapons or dangerous objects, does not have a confirmed reservation through the established means or arrives after the end of the lunch or dinner shift.
